The latest star to make her foray in to world fashion is Amy Winehouse.
The popular singer has just recently teamed up with the British Brand label Fred Perry to create a new kind of women’s wear. Amy has never made it a secret that she is a number one fan of the label – and she is quite often wearing its famous polo shirts – and it looks as though the Fred Perry team like her just as much. The marketing director of the brand, Richard Martin, said that ‘Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own’.
In October, the collection is due to hit the stores, which draws on Amy’s signature 1950s style to introduce 17 pieces ranging from twin sets, to polo shirts, pencil skirts all in black or pink. And incredibly, this partnership is going to carry on for four seasons and not be just a ‘one off’.
