Republic started life as an independent denim retailer trading from one store in Leeds, West Yorkshire, in 1986. Since then they’ve gone on to open many more stores throughout the UK and there are now a total of 80. If you’ve ever visited a Republic shop you’ll know pretty much what they’re about.

If this is the first time you have heard of republic, here are a few interesting facts (taken from their website):

To be honest Fashion Monkey are very excited to be reviewing the Republic website. The reason being is that we’ve been a fan of theirs for a while now and love the range of clothing that they have to offer.

The website is clean, simple to use and uses a very straight forward navigation at the top of the site.

You can either browse the ‘Mens‘ menu which drops down the following options; Just in, Jeans, Hoodies & Sweats, T-Shirts, Knitwear, Jackets, Combats, Shirts, Accessories, Bags & Wallets and Shorts,

or you can hover over the ‘Brands‘ menu which displays the following; G-Star, Bench, Soul Cal, Henleys, Crafted, Drunknmunky, Fenchurch, Green Park.

We love the way that you can enlarge pretty much every item of clothing on the website to get a really detailed view of the garment. Additionally the website displays the delivery time and costs next to every item which many online retailers fail to do these days.
