Fashion Monkey Reviews Office Shoes (www.office.co.uk)

Fashion Monkey reviews the Office shoes website. Office is very popular among students and young professional because of their cutting edge footwear fashion. So what’s their website like?

For starters, Office always seem to have some kind of sale on which is great if you have limited funds. After we got over the fact we couldn’t find a search box on the homepage, we got to grips with the drop down menu at the top of the website.

Although it was slightly annoying at first we soon found a great range of men’s shoes and continued to hunt for our favourite shoes. What is nice about the website is the use of images as many shoes have multiple angles and some have a 360 degree view.

In fact, soon after reviewing the Office Shoes website I went on to buy a pair of Hudson shoes. The checkout process was very straight forward and I easily specified a different delivery address. Within 2 days my shoes had arrived so quite a smooth process. Just watch out for stock levels as some have noticed the stock can be quite low in some sizes.

Office Shoes History

Office Shoes originally opened in 1982 as “Office London” with a concession shop in the shopping mecca Hyper Hyper, but they go back as far as the 1960’s selling footwear, luggage and hand-made belts.

After a very successful concession shop, plans to expand into the west end were soon under way. In 1984, the first stand alone Office store opened in Kings Road London and then High Street Kensington and Charing Cross.

During the eighties Office shoes continued to grow, expanding into major shopping areas like Covent Garden, Portobello Road and Camden. 1995 saw the chain acquiring stores in South Molton Street and Neal Street (Covent Garden).

Office shoes are now retailing from 63 stand alone stores encompassing the UK and Ireland. From the outset, Office have built a reputation for originality in shoe retailing, leading the way in designer footwear and offering a wide range of designer to sports shoes.

Summary

In summary, the Office shoes website itself isn’t the best as it’s slow at times and doesn’t include a site search function but the product range is excellent and from what we can tell the delivery speed is very fast. With the added benefit of regular sales, we’re sure you’ll find a bargain or two!
