Lyle and Scott have built their reputation on the design and manufacture of high quality traditional and contemporary knitwear. Founded over 130 years ago, they made their name by clothing some of the greatest sports personalities from the 1960’s.

In 1967 the world famous Golden Eagle was created, inspired by the American golfer Doug Sanders who loved bright colour schemes. Lyle and Scott continued to grow its already popular golf range of clothing by adding the women’s range “La Femme” in the mid eighties.

Today Lyle and Scott are well established in the casual wear market, maintaining their modern fashionable appeal whilst preserving their core values of quality products and their vastly enriched heritage.
