Bench Clothing

The word bench makes most people think of a place to sit in the park, but for skateboarders and BMX bikers the word implies a place to rail ride which is what makes it the perfect brand name for the British clothing line of the same name.

Bench specializes in making urban street ware designs that proclaim the brand name across the front of their products and in some cases also include the Manchester logo which is the company’s way of paying homage to the streets where its creators lived.

Bench started designing clothing back in 1989 with a simple t-shirt line, but today the brand has expanded into a full clothing line that includes jeans, hats, watches, jackets, hooded tops, and jewellery alongside its t-shirt line which is still their most popular item.

In 1998 Bench also extended their line to include a full shop that also caters to women with most of the same designs available for woman in their sizes as well.  Each of the woman’s designs also has the prominent brand name across the front of the products with the same urban flair that was inspired by the streets of Manchester.

With such a trendy flair, it is not a surprise that the company choose to be the official sponsors of the shirts of the Morecambe Football Club.  In the current season, the Bench logo can be found on the front of the Christie Park commemorative t-shirts to celebrate the club’s last year.

Today Bench has become an international brand with retailers throughout Europe and across the globe in Australia, Canada, USA, and Europe.  Locally, the best place to find a Bench outlet is in Liverpool, MeadowHall, Portsmouth, Leicester, Bluewater, and in Manchester.  Bench branded items are also sold throughout a variety of other retailer stores as well so simply keep your eye open for the large logo.
